Rooms In a Garden
The family needed bigger bedrooms, more storage and a living space to all get together in.
A double storey extension and internal remodel helped them get there and filled the home with views of the garden.

Large windows were used to fill the space with natural light along with French doors to provide a dual aspect and access to the garden.
By opening up the kitchen to the living space, the family gained more storage units and additional seating in the form of a breakfast bar. Hosting guests is now much more of a social event.
Designs for the new extension were developed to echo the architecture of the existing house, although the windows were all made a lot taller than before!
The first floor of the extension was split between a new children’s bedroom and storage space for the master suite (which also gained an en suite shower room).
